LPPTalk - Large Practice Pediatric Mailing List

Large Practices PedTalk is a discussion forum for those issues that are specific to the concerns facing larger pediatric organizations. Any topic related to pediatrics in a larger office setting is appropriate including managed care, CPT coding, practice management, staffing issues, medical technology, and clinical discussions. This mailing list was created specifically to meet the unique concerns of larger practices.

DO NOT SEND QUESTIONS OR INQUIRIES FOR MEDICAL ADVICE TO LPPTALK, PEDTALK OR PCC. PCC is not staffed by physicians and LPPTalk and PedTalk are NOT appropriate forums for personal medical questions.

LPPTalk is a mailing list for general discussions related to the management of Large Practices. Any topic related to large practices is appropriate including, but not at all limited to, managed care, CPT coding, employee issues, HIPAA, technological resources, and, of course, clinical discussions. The list is administered by Chip Hart, to whom you can direct any questions.

What else should I know about the list?
LPPTalk is not an appropriate forum for personal medical questions. Clinical information is routinely shared, but individual references are usually inappropriate. LPPTalk is available in digest format. PCC is adamant about refusing posts with HTML, MIME, attachments, etc., in order to limit the risk of viruses. Commercial solicitation is not allowed. LPPTalk is successful because of lack of commercialization.
