I am canvassing for opinions on the use of terminology in North America. We are a UK based multimedia company that specialise in medical education (specifically pediatrics at the moment). Our latest application which teaches developmental milestones in the first year uses a catalogue of video clips taken from a 'crèche'. This is the term we use in the UK for a place where very young children are cared for by qualified childminders. The term makes sense here, but I know, from feedback, that it will be confusing to our North American audience. I'm canvassing for opinions on the best terminology to use that would be acceptable worldwide, so would appreciate some feedback directly to my email address. Many thanks in advance.
