I am looking for some software replace our tickler or follow-up call system in my nurses computer. It needs to be able to hold a lot of names and the reason for the call. For example, in one day we might see 40 patients. The nurses will be instructed to do call backs on the acutely ill kids- the vomiters the following day, the OM kids in 3 days, the kids with a strep culture pending in a day etc, plus, a weight check in a month for a 9 month old that fell off his wt, chart, the third hepatitis B shot in a teen that won't remember in 5 months and a reminder that the cardiologist wants another halter on somebody in 6 months and on and on.. to remember that the epinephrine we have in the office expires in July of 2001 etc. Does anybody know of a software that does this- I think we are currently using one that is for salesmen but it is rustic- there is no way to put a child's name in to see what is pending for that particular child or lets say something changes and you no longer need to x y or z done it is hard to target that task to delete it.
