I did my peds residency at CHLA, in Hollywood, and Dr. Fleisch's office
was just up the street. He catered to a particular set of parents,
those who didn't like medicine much, didn't immunize their kids, stuff
like that. I'm not sure if all his patients' parents were like that,
but a significant number were.
Anybody who didn't want to immunize their baby tended to end up in his
practice, since he was the only one who would see them. . .
