RE: Japanese baby

Makes you wonder what these parents looked like when they were first
born, doesn't it? As far as the guts to diagnose it - think what would
have happened if you had waited, and then they changed providers. That
happened to me - saw a baby years ago as a new patient at around 3
months old - obvious Down syndrome - no one had told them. I asked the
physician about it & he said he was going to talk to them at the office
visit. The parents had wondered why their baby wasn't "acting/looking
right", especially when their physician hadn't alerted them to any
