While I do like this idea, I thought I should follow it and my previous
post about this topic up with one more comment:
I work for the company that hosts this discussion list. Like
most medical practices, we also file our taxes on a cash basis.
As such, we are not allowed to write off bad debts against
income. And, while for the most part, we have not had many
bad debts (we deal with medical offices), we have had a couple,
and, given the scope of our services, they were all quite large...
