Our employees pay for a percentage of their own insurance, but all of it
for spouse or kids, if they want it. We do, of course, provide free care
for employees' children.
Just be careful who you tell, Professional Courtesy is no longer legal. Did
you collect the copay on the free care? If not, that is a violation of
insurance policy-contracts.
One of my child's specialists does not take insurance, we have not been
billed by them at all, PC. So this is common practice, but it is not
supposed to be done.
