Since I am a fair-skinned, once-red-headed, now going quickly bald and
slowly gray, lover of the outdoors, I have become an expert on sunscreens.
Always remember to tell your patients that the best sunscreen is to avoid
the sun between 11am and 3pm (10am and 2pm during standard time).
Neutrogena has a 30spf sunscreen for kids. I particularly like the
sunscreens which contain titanium dioxide, a white pigment which physically
reflects the sun.
In many years of practice, the only sunscreen I've seen any reactions to is
Waterbabies by Coppertone (5 reactions to none for all other products).
