I have had only 1 SIDS in the 7 years I've been in Altoona PA. That infant died while at the babysitter's, sleeping prone in a crib. Both the parents and the sitter were smokers, baby was artificially fed (bottle fed). NO co-sleeping deaths. Linda Shaw MD FAAP
