from a medical view rechecking ears after 3 weeks to check if there is still
fluid in the middle ears is a smart thing.  we all know that the infection
will probably be gone but not the fluid.  if you don't recheck the ears and 6
months later there is a hearing loss, guess who the pt's lawyer will destroy?
from a practice management view, you can code a 99212 for the fu and also
perform a tympanogram, which is good medicine and helps boost your bottom
line
