You know, everything in life is relative. I work in a community health
center where most of the patients come from developing countries. Polio,
diptheria, measles, etc. are NOT abstract concepts to these parents! They
have seen children and adults die from these diseases. (I even remember
polio scares and I am not THAT old!) I have never had a single immunization
refusal in 11 years of practice! MAF
