Has anybody suggested parents try "KaoLectolyte"? It's available as a
powder which the parent mixes with their own water, so a certain amount of
preparation is needed.  But the taste test we did in the office showed the
grape flavor to be quite palatable.
Very different from Pedialyte, which is like drinking unfiltered seawater -
even the flavored varieties are pretty bad.  Also, the pedialyte popsicles
are not bad tasting and can be used quite successfully once the acute
crisis is over or during a mild AGE.
