One other approach you might take is to point out that it would be better for them to be seen for a check-up by the physician who will be seeing them after they move. That way they can get established at the new office and get to know the new physician. Your dilemma is made easier by the fact that they are moving. Otherwise, they need to learn the limitations of what the insurance THEY CHOSE covers and does not covers. I don't know any way you could charge for any services under a capitated plan that are not specifically listed in your agreement as fee for service. Ken Setter MD Tulsa, OK
