1--I usually use apricot nectar, about 1 oz/4oz H2O. Not sure why, just seems
more palatable
2--once or twice a day if needed
3--I have used it in fairly young babies, after sure they really are
constipated, not a breast baby that is just not pooping, or any baby that is
straining.
4. When I was in school (several years ago) we asked the Karo syrup co. and
they said it didnt make any difference. i just ask the parents to buy a new
bottle--not to use the one they bought 5 years ago to make popcorn balls with!
Seems to me about 5 years ago there was some thought that there could possibly
be botulism spores in Karo as there can be with honey, That is when the group
I was with at the time decided to go with apricot nectar. If I do use Karo,I
have the parents put it in water not the formula.
