While remembering some of the Hepatitis B rules, I forgot one important rule in nursing.....KISS (keep it simple, sister(?) I read your message again, and realized that you were asking mainly about the school aged child...not daycare or other circumstances. 3 simple points: If he has a positive antibody titre, that is sufficient...doesn't need Hep B vaccine Yes, the second shot can be 1-2 months from first one Yes, the second and third shots only have to be separated by 2 months minimum; there still must be 4 months between dose 1 and 3 though. I better end here, otherwise I will be in violation of my rule I just stated I was trying to follow! There is an excellent large manual for 10.00 that you can send for that has EVERYTHING you ever need to get a school based program up and running. It's called, "Roll Up Your Sleeve" and covers all forms, releases, educational plans for the classroom, etc. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will get the address/phone number for you. Karen
