Some adults said they had never had chickenpox but their serum antibodies were positive. Then again, some adults said they definitely had chickenpox but their serum antibodies were negative! Go figure, eh? I guess it is kinda like people's blood types - most people think that they know it but they are usually wrong! You would not think it would be that difficult to remember A, B, O, etc. When I was in the military, we found that around 50% of enlisted people who thought they knew their blood type were wrong!!!!!!
