I recently read an article (can't remember where) that addressed the
accuracy of adult recall of having chickenpox - the bottom line: not
very accurate (either way). Some adults said they had never had
chickenpox but their serum antibodies were positive. Then again, some
adults said they definitely had chickenpox but their serum antibodies
were negative! Go figure, eh?
I guess it is kinda like people's blood types - most people think that
they know it but they are usually wrong! You would not think it would
be that difficult to remember A, B, O, etc.
When I was in the military, we found that around 50% of enlisted people
who thought they knew their blood type were wrong!!!!!!
