Hi,

I referred to my daughter once befor on this list in regards to
allergies. She has multiple allergies and milk protein is one of them. I also
was breast feeding. I had to give up dairy products completely as well. If I
had milk she would get very cranky, break out in a rash and develop ear
infections...

I love dairy products...but the doctors(the allergist) said I really
needed to breastfeed her until she was at least 9 months old. It was a
decision that took a lot of commitment. I had just to look in her little face
when I picked up that glass of milk to remind me of the importance of that
decision.

Just as a side note...I did breastfeed her until she was nine months
old..while I worked full time... she then went on nutramagin(prob spelled
wrong.) At a year we tried giving her milk and had the same results. She now
drinks Rice Dream fortified. We have trialed multiple times and so far she can
not drink milk. She is now 5 years old.

     Good luck!
