A question from a still newbie PNP: I have read all my available standard resources about EI and I cannot find a source anywhere that says it is pruritic. Some of the kids whom I have seen with what seems to be "straight out of the book" EI have complained that it does itch, in particular one young man who came in yesterday after being out in the sun and the rash came surging back. I'm concerned that I might be thinking this is EI and it is really something else....the history and evolution of the rash seems to fit as well as the appearance and the undulating fading and exacerbations.
