Anything else?>> Mike, there was an International Peds Chat session with a specialist on this topic last year and the log of it is probably still on the website (I think, pedschat.org). Based on what I recall of that session, it would probably be safe to diagnose the episode a vasovagal syncope without any special workup, except maybe BPs taken supine, sitting and standing to look for orthostatic changes.
