Living day and night with a colicky baby is NOT fun -- and can lead to worse things -- like shaken baby syndrome or worse. So, if the mom goes to the pediatrician and is told that the baby has colic and there isn't anything they can do about it except give some drugs which are questionable in themselves, and to live with it because most babies grow out of it by 3 months....well, what do you find scary about a competent practitioner doing some cranial-sacral therapy or a minor adjustment? Especially if it works? Has anyone looked at the chiropractic literature to see if there is anything in there? I haven't, so I'm asking. Jan -- in Wheaton where it is finally snowing.
