We stopped giving Hep B vaccine in the nursery a long time ago. (Getting
consent from moms who just delivered and are leaving too soon is a pain in
the neck, and the hospitals charge a fortune for those who pay their own
bills--I had one patient bring me their bill--$80 just for the Hep B
vaccine!) We have been starting at 2 months, but now are waiting until 6
months.
