What a great way to give the dexamethasone. Works for lasix and methotrexate as well. Does anyone know of any other parenteral preperations that can be used orally with equal effect? Regarding prednisone/jprednisolone not working as well - anyone know of any studies? It doesn't make sense to me that a short or medium acting steroid should be viewed by the body any differently than a long-acting one. I always thought that dexamethasone was used because surgeons ordered it and they remembered those doses better than prednisone doses. Harry Gewanter Richmond, VA
