RE: Cosleeping safety guidelines]

Should I ferberize? Or, should I do ferber?  When any of my patients bring
up this term it is as a pejorative (?sp) referring to letting a baby cry
herself to sleep by leaving her alone in her crib for progressively longer
amounts of time.

It refers to "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems", by Richard Ferber,
although the idea is not particularly new.
