I got them to send me all of their original RCT data (it wasn't published),
and it seems to be pretty effective -- definately a good choice when parents
are opposed to using pesticides, or in kids that have bad reactions to
permethrin.

We actually bought one, too -- easy to use, doesn't hurt or anything.

The only drawback is that you really have to use it daily for 10-14 days
to completely eradicate the infestation.  But, it's just five minutes a day,
and older kids can do it on themselves.

It can also be used to test whether kids have lice or not, which I think is
pretty cool.
