In my experience of over 32 years, LLLI is in the business of empowering
women to make their own choices, especially those that support breastfeeding.
While they are supportive of co-sleeping, they do not as an organization
force or dictate any specific behavior of their members. They do believe in
helping educate their members to make healthy, safe choices in many aspects
of life supporting breastfeeding.
I am speaking strictly as an individual supporter and friend of LLLI and
in no other official or unofficial capacity.
