I use gentian violet 1% all the time
It works great It is cheap it helps in 5 days
Nystatin is slow to work and sometimes takes for ever Diflucan is very expensive
I use 1% gentian violet prescibe 1 oz tell parents to use it topically once qd for 5 days if any signs of sores in mouth to dc it immediately this only happened once I explain to use a bib since the drool is purple and may stain clothes
