Interesting scenario that happened to me recently that I want some opinions on.... 4 year old physical on a family I have followed for years. On a previous physical we had a long discussion about how to deal with the boys because Dad is on the run from the law and is in Mexico avoiding arrest on multiple assault and drug charges. At this visit, in the conversation, 4 year old mentions that Dad is back and is right now home asleep on the couch. Is calling the police after the visit a breach of confidentiality? P.S. I did end up calling, the police showed up at home with 4 cruisers, took Dad away and were thrilled that I called, as they had been looking for him for a while.
