Re: croup outbreak

One thing I've done to decrease the volume of the steroids you
have to give is use the IV solution and give it orally.  It works
pretty well that way.

Sorry to be a little slow on this.  The pill idea is good due to
volume
of suspension though if the pills linger in the mouth for any
length of
time, the bitter taste is still there.  When my daughter has to
take
oral steroid pills of any sort, she rinses her mouth with Cool
Whip
first.  She says it coats her mouth and keeps the bitter taste
from
lasting.
