One thing I've done to decrease the volume of the steroids you have to give is use the IV solution and give it orally. It works pretty well that way. tim -- Timothy S. The pill idea is good due to volume of suspension though if the pills linger in the mouth for any length of time, the bitter taste is still there. When my daughter has to take oral steroid pills of any sort, she rinses her mouth with Cool Whip first. She says it coats her mouth and keeps the bitter taste from lasting.
