It's official - PCC EHR has received the federal government's "Meaningful Use" stamp of approval by earning the ARRA/ONC Ambulatory EHR Certification!
We received the great news on Oct. 13 from the Drummond Group Inc. Drummond handled the testing and certification process that began in April, when PCC EHR passed the first 22 ARRA requirements and achieved modular certification. PCC EHR passed the remaining 10 requirements needed to complete full certification on Oct. 6.
PCC EHR's designation as a fully-certified ambulatory EHR officially deems its electronic health record software capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). PCC EHR is 2011/2012 compliant under the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
PCC Sales Manager Scott Child said the certification should open the gates to existing and potential clients who've expressed interest in PCC EHR but were waiting for the system to receive its ambulatory EHR status.">"We envision the excitement around official certification will quickly grow as word gets out and providers begin joining PCC's family," said Child.
