Evaluation & Management Coding

Your charting and coding practices have a direct impact on your financial success. Join pediatric coding expert Donelle Holle, R.N. of PedsCoding to master the basics of evaluation and management procedural coding. Learn about the most underutilized codes in pediatric practice, and how and when to code for consults, after-hours and emergency office visits, and critical care performed in the office. Discover ways to monitor for bundling of services, and other considerations that are key to fair reimbursement for the important work you do as pediatricians. Donelle has over 25 years of experience in helping hundreds of pediatricians achieve financial success by coding accurately for all services.

Benchmarking with Your Data

Chip Hart and Tim Proctor from PCC's Pediatric Solutions Team will help you identify important financial and clinical indicators to ensure continued financial success. You'll generate Partner reports from your own system during the workshop. Using your data and PCC's exclusive pediatric coding tools, you'll populate an electronic worksheet designed to exhibit specific trends in your coding practices. You'll examine sick-to-well visit ratios, monthly productivity trends, and fee schedule patterns, among other benchmarks during this intensive workshop.

You'll take home graphical representations of your data to showcase what you are doing well, and what areas need improvement. With PCC's help, you'll devise strategies to bring your A/R, sick coding curve, and fee schedule beyond the benchmarks established by your peers.
