1. Does PCC EHR include the features you need?
Whether your office is small or large, deciding to purchase EHR is a commitment for both clinicians and staff. It is likely that your EHR evaluation process will take some time and include doctors, nurses, practice administrator and/or office manager, and other office staff. 2. Is the Early Adopter program right for your office?
Does your office have an adventurous spirit? If your clinicians and administrative staff are excited by fast paced change and don't mind the occassional hiccups that are bound to occur when new features are introduced and new processes are implemented, the Early Adopter program may be a perfect fit. 3. Is the schedule right for you and can you commit time to preparing for PCC EHR?
Offices committing to the PCC EHR Early Adopter program will need to select both an EHR Leader and an EHR Champion. Your EHR Leader, and ideally your EHR Champion as well, will need to attend a special preparation kick-off meeting. You will also need to set aside time for your clinical and administrative staff to do special projects (such as workflow analyses and template creation) to prepare for PCC EHR. Your ability to complete preparation tasks on schedule, will determine your go-live date.

4. Can you afford to participate?
One of PCC's goals is to make PCC EHR affordable for Pediatricians. PCC EHR will run on your existing Partner Server which helps to minimize up front costs. You may need to purchase workstation hardware or networking equipment, PCC will help you determine what to buy, and when to buy it, during the implementation process. Software licensing fees are monthly and based on the number of providers at your practice. Offices that sign up for PCC EHR now will pay a lower initial cost than those who select PCC EHR after more features have been implemented.
