Project Manager- Client Technical Services

PCC seeks a Project Manager to join our team to oversee projects that help us install, support, and maintain 260+ client networks across the United States. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and that project goals align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

This is a versatile technical role with elements of a project manager, business analyst, and operations (research, deployment, monitoring, issue remediation). The ideal candidate is a highly motivated problem solver who loves getting things done with a focus on improving all aspects of client networks and support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and facilitate initiatives related to
    • Internal tool development to help teams work more effectively
    • Client hardware and network equipment
      • Equipment and OS research
      • Equipment upgrades and replacements
  • Assist with improvements to operational practices and procedures
  • Maintain standards, documentation, and remediation
  • Shares information effectively and timely, according to the needs of the team members and stakeholders.
  • Facilitates meetings and discussions with finesse, judgment, and patience. Able to help a diverse group reach a consensus.
  • Optimize the flow of work, removing bottlenecks and roadblocks.
  • Enjoys working in small groups and coaching a cross-functional team to achieve their best.
  • Investigate client needs and industry requirements, including technical specifications.
  • Translates problem statements into business requirements, assisting the team in finding the best solution and applying that understanding to our existing products and services.

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Experience in Project Management, DevOps, or IT Operation roles
  • Experience working with Agile teams utilizing Agile methodologies and principles
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication and team-building skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, with experience in leading team-based retrospectives
  • The flexibility to lead and adjust technical projects, and manage technical program backlogs
  • The ability and judgment to help the team prioritize and weigh risk versus benefits
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Relevant certifications (PMI-PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe RTE, Scrum Master) are a plus but are not required.
